Migraines & Headaches – The Causes

Migraines are not an uncommon thing; that is known. But the causes of them remains a bit elusive. Research today points its finger at various different triggers that have an effect on blood vessels, nerve signals, and chemical/hormonal levels in the brain.

Given that it is not known what specifically causes the pain in a migraine, simple solutions are hard to come by. It’s also relevent that no two migraines are the same. They present differently in intensity, duration, their effects on perception, and pain level between individuals.

Migraines are not an exact science, but there are numerous recommendations out there for remedies and other ways to cope for those who suffer from them.

I set up this site to help me document my research and compile resources as I look for the best and most relevent answers out there. It will be a discussion of migraines, headaches, and head/neck pain as a whole.

This site is under construction, but do bookmark it if you are interested in this topic because we will be expanding the site content quickly with science, news, articles, and thoughts on migraine research and remedies.
